Returns and Exchanges Policy
Online returns and exchanges will not be accepted for items purchased at Carillon Historical Park, Carillon Brewing Company or Special Events and Festivals.
Shop.daytonhistory.org will gladly exchange, credit or refund the purchase directly from shop.daytonhistory.org if returned within 30 days of the shipping date, unless otherwise stated herein.
Merchandise must be returned NEW, in its original condition at the time of purchase, in the original unopened packaging with original tags and tickets attached. No returns or exchanges will be accepted if the merchandise has been used, worn or broken.
Items broken from a manufacturer’s defect must be approved by the Store Manager prior to issuing a refund or exchange.
Returns with Gift Receipts
A full refund in the form of a gift receipt will be issued.
Returns or Exchanges by Mail
Merchandise may be returned or exchanged by mail via UPS or insured USPS (to the address below). Your name and address must be included on the label (packages will not be accepted without a return name and address). Allow 2 weeks for processing. Shipping & handling fees are required. Replacements for exchanges are not guaranteed unless approved before shipping the item back.

Preparing your return:
Tickets, Memberships, Special Products and Exceptions
Merchandise purchased between November 1st and December 18th will be accepted for return through January 18th. Merchandise purchased after December 18th is subject to the terms stated above.
Clearance items or Special Event Merchandise will not be accepted for return. Exchanges may be made with a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase and in the condition it was bought, Gift Wrap and Shipping/Handling Fees may not be returned or exchanged.
DVD, Audio and Books must be returned in the original, unopened packaging and be accompanied by the original sales receipt. Damaged or defective DVD, Audio and Books may only be exchanged for the same merchandise and title (if still available), pending the Store Manager’s approval.
Opened puzzles may not be returned or exchanged without special approval from the Store Manager.
Tickets and Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash or converted to Merchandise Credits.
A Dayton History Gift Certificate is not redeemable for cash. Please provide required proof of purchase to replace or cancel a lost, stolen or damaged Gift Certificate.
Price adjustments will be provided in the form of a gift certificate on merchandise purchased from shop.daytonhistory.org within 7 days from the shipping date. Price adjustments are not valid on final sale merchandise. To request a price adjustment on qualifying purchases, contact the Museum Store at Dayton History. Please be sure to include your Transaction Number and Item Number in your request.
Returns or exchanges of merchandise purchased from shop.daytonhistory.org can be made in the Museum Store at Carillon Historical Park in accordance with the In-Store Return Policy, excluding used, opened or broken items. All returns or exchanges must have the original packing slip/receipt with the merchandise to be returned or exchanged in accordance to the return and exchange policy.
Merchandise purchased online by a debit or credit card will be returned to the card used for purchase. If this card is not available to the store or the returner for any reason, returns will be issued with a Dayton History Gift Certificate. Merchandise purchased with multiple forms of tender will only be returned by issuing a Gift Certificate.

Merchandise Returns with GIFT CERTIFICATE
A Gift Certificate for the full purchase price will be given within 30 days of the date of purchase.
Merchandise Returns WITHOUT A RECEIPT and Returns MORE THAN 30 DAYS from date of purchase
A Gift Certificate will be issued in the amount of the current selling price of the merchandise returned. Guests may be required to present one of the following forms of ID as proof of identity: valid driver's license, state issued ID card, passport or military ID. We reserve the right to limit the number of returns permitted without valid receipts.
Gift Certificates issued from returning merchandise may not be used towards admission or memberships.

The Dayton History Gift Certificate is not redeemable for cash. Partial balances cannot be exchanged for cash.
